Author Guidelines

All manuscripts submitted to JPMN: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Nasional must be original works that have not been previously published or submitted for publication elsewhere. The official languages of the journal are Bahasa and English.

1. General Author Guidelines

All manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the Abdimas PHB online submission system available at: https://sentrailmiah.com/ojs/index.php/jpmn. Authors are required to register as Authors prior to submission. For technical issues related to online submission, authors may contact the Editorial Office via email at jpmn@sentrailmiah.com.

2. Manuscript Template

Manuscripts must be prepared using the official JPMN journal template in Microsoft Word format (DOC/DOCX). The template can be downloaded at: Journal Template .

3. Revision of Manuscripts

Manuscripts returned to authors for revision should be resubmitted promptly through the online submission system or via email to jpmn@sentrailmiah.com. Revised manuscripts submitted later than one (1) month will be treated as new submissions.

4. Article Systematics

a. Manuscript Format

Manuscripts should be prepared using Microsoft Word (DOC/DOCX) with Book Antiqua font. The paper size is A4 (210 × 297 mm), formatted in two columns, with margins of 1.9 cm (top), 4.3 cm (bottom), and 1.5 cm (left and right). Text should be single-spaced, justified, and page numbers placed in the footer. The use of personal pronouns (e.g., I, we) should be avoided.

b. Title and Author Information

The title must be written in bold, using capital letters at the beginning of each word (except conjunctions), and limited to a maximum of 20 words. Titles should be concise, specific, and free from uncommon abbreviations.

Author names must be written in full without academic titles. Affiliations should include department/unit, faculty (if applicable), institution, and country. The corresponding author must be indicated with an asterisk (*).

c. Abstract and Keywords

The abstract should summarize the objectives, methods, results, and discussion in a single paragraph, written in essay form (not enumerative). Abstracts must be written in both Bahasa Indonesia and English, consist of 150–200 words, and contain no citations.

d. Manuscript Structure

Submitted manuscripts should be organized as follows:

  • Title
  • Author(s) Name, Affiliation, and Email
  • Abstract (Bahasa Indonesia) and Keywords
  • Introduction
  • Related Research
  • Methods
  • Results and Discussion
  • Conclusions and Suggestions
  • Acknowledgments
  • References
e. References

Authors should cite only relevant and previously read sources, prioritizing primary references such as journal articles, patents, theses, dissertations, conference proceedings, and textbooks published within the last ten years. Abstracts and secondary citations are not permitted.

References must follow the IEEE citation style, using numerical ordering [1], [2], [3], and so forth, based on their first appearance in the text.

Cite the main scientific publications on which your work is based. Cite only items that you have read. Avoid excessive self‐citations. Avoid excessive citations of publications from the same region. Check each reference against the original source (authors name, volume, issue, year, DOI Number). Reference use IEEE Style reference citation.

Reference provisions:

  1. Primary reference source are journal, patent, dissertation, thesis, paper in proceeding and text book.
  2. Referral source as much as possible the libraries last 10 years.
  3. Should avoid the using of reference within another reference, popular text book, and internet reference except e-journal and government or private institute.
  4. Abstract are not allow to be reference.
  5. Reference numbering format is [1],[2],[3],…and so forth, numbered according the loading order reference in the script.
  6. Reference citation within text only typed in number (not author or year), example: ".... (Government to Business), serta pemerintah dengan instansi pemerintah [1]. Selain itu standarisasi eGovernmentmenjadi lebih detail dengan mengacu kepadastandarisasi model data dan interface yang akan diimplementasikan [2].... ".
