Article Processing Charge

The Indonesian Journal of Electronics and Computer Technology (IJECT) is an open access journal committed to making high-quality scholarly research freely accessible to readers worldwide. To support editorial management, peer-review administration, copyediting, typesetting, online publication, DOI registration, digital preservation, and journal maintenance, IJECT applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted manuscripts.

There are no submission charges. Authors may submit manuscripts free of charge. The APC is required only after the manuscript has successfully passed the peer-review process and has been formally accepted for publication.

The APC is charged once per accepted article, regardless of the number of authors.

Effective Date: The APC policy will be applied starting from Volume 2, Number 1, 2027.

What the APC Covers

The APC supports the following publishing and journal management services:

Editorial screening and manuscript management

Double-blind peer review administration

Professional copyediting and proofreading

Article layout and typesetting

Online publication with immediate open access

Long-term digital preservation

Website hosting and journal management

Metadata indexing and dissemination

Payment Procedure

Authors will receive an APC payment notification only after their manuscript has been accepted for publication.

Payment instructions, including available payment methods, will be provided by the editorial office.

Publication will proceed after the APC payment has been confirmed.

Waiver and Discount Policy

At present, IJECT does not provide a general APC waiver or discount program.

However, in exceptional circumstances, the Editor-in-Chief may consider requests for partial or full APC waivers based on justified reasons, including but not limited to:

  • Authors from low-income or lower-middle-income countries.
  • Authors with demonstrated financial hardship.
  • Special invitations or strategic collaborations approved by the Editorial Board.

Requests for APC waivers must be submitted before publication, and approval is solely at the discretion of the Editorial Board.

Editorial Independence: The editorial decision regarding manuscript acceptance is completely independent of the author's ability to pay the APC.

No Additional Fees

IJECT does not charge additional fees for the following services:

Authors are required to pay only the APC after acceptance, unless otherwise stated.
