Plagiarism Policy
JPMN: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Nusantara is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and publication ethics. All submitted manuscripts must be free from plagiarism and unethical publication practices.
All articles submitted to JPMN will be screened using plagiarism detection software (e.g., Turnitin or similar tools). The maximum acceptable similarity index is 20%, excluding references and properly cited quotations. Manuscripts exceeding this threshold may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected.
Authorship of a manuscript must be limited to individuals who have made significant contributions to the work and are willing to take public responsibility for its content. Such contributions include:
- Conceptualization, design, data analysis, and interpretation;
- Drafting the manuscript or revising it critically for important intellectual content;
- Final approval of the version to be published;
- Agreement to be accountable for all aspects of the work, ensuring that questions related to accuracy or integrity are appropriately investigated and resolved.
Submission of a manuscript to JPMN implies that all listed authors have read and approved the manuscript and agree with its content. The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring effective communication among all co-authors and between the authors and the journal, both during the submission process and after publication.
Any request to modify the authorship (including addition, removal, or reordering of authors) after submission must be accompanied by a formal statement signed by all original authors.
Authors submitting to JPMN must ensure that:
- The manuscript is an original work and does not involve plagiarism, fabrication, or falsification of data;
- The manuscript has not been previously published and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere;
- All authors have reviewed and approved the manuscript and take responsibility for its content;
- The manuscript does not contain any unlawful, defamatory, or misleading statements, and does not violate the rights of others, including privacy and intellectual property rights;
- All sources and quotations from other works are properly cited and acknowledged.
JPMN reserves the right to take appropriate actions in cases of suspected or confirmed plagiarism, including manuscript rejection, retraction of published articles, and notification to the authors’ affiliated institutions if necessary.
